The idea of creating something has always interested me. That has not changed, and actually has proven to be even more true since I have gotten older. I used to sit and watch my mother cross stitch, stain cabinets, and she dabbled in stained glass among many other things. I was always amazed at how beautiful everything turned out because I was never able to see it things the way she did.
Now that I am older, I have a dedicated "craft room" In our home. My husband likes to call it the "CRAP ROOM" because he thinks I have a few too many hobbies. That is until he sees the finished products! We recently got married and I made all of the decorations from my wonderful buckets of trinkets and leftover trash. That's right. Trash! Our wedding was wine themed and we reused the bottles we had been saving, although it took much convincing to keep them out of the recycle bin. We even made our own labels. It was amazing! All in all, the wedding turned out beautiful and now my husband hesitates before referring to my "craproom".
